For the Advanced Financial Modeler exam, candidates are expected to build a financial model from scratch in order to demonstrate their modeling skills.

For the Chartered Financial Modeler exam, candidates solve real-world modeling problems.

You will need to demonstrate proficiency in financial model design, structure, accounting, financial concepts and Excel skills. You will also need to work quickly and efficiently to meet the requirements within the 4-hour time allotment.
