The content between the CFA PSM on Financial Modeling and FMI Foundations is largely the same. The primary distinction lies in the assessment methodology, with FMI Foundations culminating in an online multiple-choice exam. Upon passing the exam, you will be issued a personalized digital badge to showcase on your LinkedIn page.
If you have completed the CFA PSM on Financial Modeling and wish to obtain the FMI Foundations digital badge, you must separately enroll in FMI's Foundations program and successfully complete the FMI Foundations exam. The badge is awarded based on FMI's unique assessment process.
