To set clear expectations about the topics assessed under each exam, FMI publishes a Body of Knowledge, Skills Checklist, Sample Exams and Study Guide for each certification level. These materials are designed to help candidates ensure they are ready to take each exam. These publications also communicate to employees and the broader industry what each designation stands for and what skills certification holders of each level have been required to demonstrate.
Body of Knowledge
Review the core knowledge, competencies, and topics that form the basis of the material for your Level 1 certification exam.
Assess your exam readiness by using the skills checklist as you study and advance closer to the exam date.
Practice and familiarize yourself with an industry prepared sample exam and previous AFM exam submission. Additional learning materials (sample exam and past exams) with possible solutions are provided once a candidate registers for the exam.
