Financial Modeling Institute (FMI) is proud to announce the launch of the Financial Modeling Global Leaders Council (GLC), a first-of-its-kind international forum bringing together the world’s foremost financial modeling experts to shape the future of the profession through global thought leadership.
The Global Leaders Council is comprised of more than 60 leading experts in financial modeling including Heads of Modeling at the Big 4 and Bloomberg, CEOs of financial modeling training firms, senior corporate finance leaders, and respected academics. Representing 26 countries throughout the Americas, Europe, Asia, the Middle East and Africa, and Oceania, the Council is intentionally diverse in geography, perspective, and experience, and collaborative by design.

The launch of the GLC comes at a pivotal moment for the profession. Financial modeling is undergoing rapid transformation driven by artificial intelligence, big data, automation, and increasingly powerful Excel and analytical tools. As businesses and financial institutions manage growing complexity and uncertainty, financial modelers must remain adaptable, informed, and forward-thinking.
The Financial Modeling Global Leaders Council will play a critical role in addressing these shifts by fostering global collaboration, sharing insights, and identifying emerging risks and opportunities to strengthen the discipline. The Council will publish bi-annual reports which will be distributed publicly to help ensure that financial modeling professionals are equipped with the latest insights so that professionals remain informed and future-ready.
