AICPA & CIMA has partnered with Financial Modeling Institute to offer the Advanced Financial Modeler (AFM) accreditation, a program designed to equip you with the necessary skills to make accurate and informed financial decisions.
The AFM accreditation exam is experiential. It tests your ability to design and create a 3-statement financial model of a company, and demonstrates your acumen in finance, accounting, and Excel.
The 4-hour online proctored AFM exam is offered quarterly.

The Advanced Financial Modeler (AFM) accreditation is FMI's flagship program.
Candidates can access FMI's learning resources to prepare for the AFM exam, a rigorous, proctored, 4-hour online exam in which candidates are provided with a case study and required to build a 3-statement model of a company from scratch.
