A lot more goes into a financial model than just a Balance Sheet. When your Balance Sheet does not balance it is an indication of an issue somewhere in your model. This issue could be small (ex: typo in a formula) or large (ex: an entire schedule is missing).
The grading team will assess much more than whether your Balance Sheet balances.
